it went well
5/3/08 1 CommentThe recital was great. My kids did a great job. My number went smoothly too. One thing that did disappoint me was some of the people in the audience must have thought that they were at the baseball game or movies because they left their trash all over the place. It was ‘no eating’ in the theater. Where’s the common sense? and courtesy? Some of the parents I would like to slap silly. Ok I’m done venting. Have a great weekend.

I had to bite my tongue
2/7/08 1 CommentI was in the parking lot of Walmart today and I saw this older man open his window and drop his trash out. I looked at him and really wanted to say “EXCUSE ME SIR YOU DROPPED YOUR TRASH”. But I had to bite my tongue because you never know what people will do. That made me really mad.
Anyway I thought I was starting to feel better but I have this terrible chest congestion, a little bit of a sore throat, and I keep getting headaches. I am assuming it is just some kind of viral infection so I’m trying to take it easy. Now I have a lot to catch up on.

a dream come true
2/3/08 1 CommentLast night my next door neighbor was going to her mom’s for dinner and they were having crabs in red sauce. This woman makes the best. I had them about 2 months ago. Well anyway I open the frig this morning to get milk for my tea and what do I see. A huge pot of crabs in red sauce. I am so happy. My question is “do I have to share?” LOL. Of course I will share.
